The new KBS TV drama "The Slave Hunters," which will air in January 2010, features well-regarded supporting actors such as Kim Ji-seok, Yoo Chae-young and Chun Se-hong.
This scenes were shot on November 14 at the Suwon Drama Center. Wangsoni, who is a notorious womanizer in the Joseon era, seduces women in his neighborhood and leaves under all kinds of excuses. To portray his character, Kim Ji-seok prepared thoroughly and even did his best to set a friendly mood on the set. He approached other actors with whom he happened to be working with for the first time, and even took off his clothes first so that the actresses who played opposite him did not feel embarrassed when shooting love scenes.
Yoo Chae-young, who is very comedy-savvy, made everyone on the set laugh with her witty ad-libs. Chun Se-hong, who has been appearing in provocative costumes at award ceremonies and fashion shows these days, looked nervous before shooting the first scene where she exposes her shoulders, but once the cameras started rolling, she was completely engrossed in acting and finished her scene without bloopers after just a few tries.
"The Slave Hunters" features breathtaking action scenes, a magnificent scale and well-knit plot as well as the elements of comedy. It stars Jang Hyuk, Lee Da-hye, Oh Ji-ho, Lee Jong-hyuk, Kim Ji-seok and Kong Hyung-jin, among others.
