It isn't a surprise that as it's reported that Japan's Pony Canyon has bought the broadcasting rights for "Love Rain", even when the drama is in shooting stage, with the highest selling price since Korean drama was exported abroad.
"Love Rain" has Jang Geun Suk and SNSD's Yoona. They are the faces of Korean wave today. Jang Geun Suk is widely popular in Japan with his always sold out concert. Meanwhile Girls Generation / SNSD is the most popular Kpop girl group these years. And they both are beyond cute physically.
So, no wonder that "Love Rain" already drew massive attention when they casted those 2 superstars months ago.
But, casting a couple of busy famous singers also has consequences. With their numerous concerts, photo shoot and commercials schedule, it's not easy job to fit them into filming set. As rumor has it couple weeks ago that there was dispute between Jang Geun Suk and Love Rain's production team regarding with shooting schedule. The rumor was denied by both side.
But we think it's a normal thing in a drama production, they will solve it for sure.
As the drama has been sold to Japan and there're many foreign countries in talk to buy the rights of Love Rain, we guess the production team already enjoyed the fruit of casted those 2 superstars. It will be complete with great rating in the home country when this drama airs on March 2012.Source: Newsen
